Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog! I am so glad that you made it! I look forward to sharing my personal experiences of running a small business. I would welcome you to read about a brief background of myself. My name is Aaron Martin, and I am the owner of Martin’s Lawn and Landscape LLC. I am a twenty-one-year-old business owner. I grew up in a small town, Hartville, Ohio. Hartville is about twenty minutes away from Canton.  I graduated from Lake High School in 2021. I began taking college level courses while in high school. I was heavily involved in our marketing and entrepreneurship program, which was offered by Stark State College in North Canton. I have always had a passion for business, especially entrepreneurship. As a young, clueless teenager, I had no idea what was next after high school.

My family was a tremendous influence and helped me make my decision as to what my next venture would be upon graduation. My dad graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in Business. My mom graduated from Duquesne University with an Education degree. My brother is a recent Mount Union graduate, obtaining a degree in Computer Science. I was next. I decided to take the college route and ended up following my brother’s footsteps of attending the University of Mount Union.

I am currently a Junior at Mount Union, working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I am anticipating graduating in the Spring of 2025. While attending Mount Union, I also run a small lawn and landscaping business, Martin’s Lawn and Landscape. My ultimate goal is to scale my business while still taking classes, graduate next spring, and go full time with my business. I have always wanted to own a business, so this is a dream come true.
